Accommodation in Rome?

I'm looking for accommodation in Rome. But it needs to be near the Leonardo DaVinci Fiumicino airport, but still close to some cool tourist sites. I'd love to see the collosuem, but I'm not too sure how much a taxi would be to get there. I'm on a real budget trip from November 6 to 8. Any help is greatly appreciated.
