Why Didn't The Japanese Invade New Zealand?
Logistics. No war can be fought or sustained without logistics. Since there was no way for them to fund, fuel, and feed their troops down there, there was no point to them doing so. Why do you think they went to the Philippines in the first place? Resources so that their logistics trail could be shortened. Why do you thikn they attacked Pearl Harbor? It was because we were the only thing standing in their way of grabbing resources in the Pacific...i.e. logistics. If they had not done that, they would have run out of fuel and food to fight very early on.
