He had Socialist ideas with a Fascist rule. He brought all of Germany's industries under his control and he created universal health care. He ruled with an iron fist, often killing those who didn't agree with him. The Nazi party was his political and militant group, not an entity controlled by the government. The Nazi Party, after Hindenburg's death, evolved and took over the Reichstag and every other political office in Germany.
