When the Republican Party mention TAX CUT... why do poor social conservatives umed the Republicans were?

I was fully and constantly employed at the same firm all during the Bush administration, and I was earning a goodly wage, determined to be at least 160% of the median wage for my area. If Bush cut all tax brackets, then why didn't my paychecks get any larger? For the whole 8 years of Bush, my paycheck stagnated, in spite of getting cost-of-living raises and merit raises. My pay might have gone up maybe $300 for the whole 8 years of Bush. That is $37.50 a year. That calculates to less than $0.04 a paycheck. This is precisely why I occasionally mention on here that "I am still waiting for my Bush tax cut."
